History

Raberto School is a private co-educational institution that was established in the 1995/1996 academic session and was approved by the Education Department of the Capital Territory, Abuja. It is an offspring of Abdul Aziz Attah Memorial Nursery, Primary and Secondary School, Ilorin which was founded in April 1981.

The school is strategically located on a beautiful and expansive land at No. 159, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja.It lies on a gently hilly ground giving one a very scenic view of the city.

The landscaping, green scenery, walkways, well kept lawns and physical structures enhance the natural beauty and attraction of the school compound.

The school has maintained high academic standard since its inception. Before the abolition of the National Common Entrance Examination in 2006, the performances of its primary six pupils in the examination was consistently among the best in the FCT. Many of our ex-pupils gained admissions into the best private and public schools in Nigeria. Others won scholarships to some of these schools.As part of our effort to maintain high academic standard, the school employs well-qualified teachers who are graduates, NCE holders and holders of equivalent qualifications.

Objective
The primary objective of its founders is to provide qualitative education for children by creating conducive atmosphere for learning and good facilities for teaching. Thus the school helps to lay a solid foundation for the educational development of its pupils/students.

Vision
The vision of the school is to produce well educated, disciplined, cultured and confident students who will stand out to be counted for good in the society. It is also to produce pupils/students who will play their unique roles as happy and useful citizens while contributing to the development and progress of the nation and their community.

Staff

The school currently has a total staff strength of 63 teaching and 40 non-teaching staff. The teaching staff consists of experienced and well qualified graduates, NCE holders and nursery specialists.

The Proprietress of the school, Mrs. R. Ozigi, is an experienced professional teacher and school administrator for over 40 years.The School Board formulates policies for the school, among other functions.The Management Staff carry out the day-to-day running of the school and consists of the Proprietress, the Head of School, the Assistant Head Teacher, the School Manager, the School Accountant and the Administrative Secretary.

In order to ensure continuous improvement of the effectiveness of our staff, the school employs a system of internal and external supervision for guidance, assistance and support. Some special measures are taken to improve the welfare of our staff in order to motivate them to do their jobs very well. Such measures include provision of residential accommodation within the school premises, free lunch, medical support, gratuity, contribution to pension scheme, etc.
